PLEASE NOTE: We have heard from individuals who mistakenly confuse our programs with Unity programs and have asked why we don't accept love offerings as Unity does rather than a set tuition fee. While we have a partnership agreement with Unity that allows us to use their church, our programs are NOT Unity programs--they are A.R.E. programs. Unlike Unity, we have no other stream of income other than our program tuition so in order for us to meet our expenses, we cannot rely on love offerings alone. We make every effort to keep the cost of our programs as low as possible as we are mindful of the struggle some individuals are having in this economy. If you are in financial need and wish to come to our programs, we do offer one free scholarship per program, but you need to register in advance and ask for that and you would only be able to do this once a year. The Universe always seeks balance, so to create that balance you have the option of joining our volunteer team which would enable you to attend all of our programs at no charge. And don't forget, if you come with a friend and register online, or you are a student, there is a discount! Peter received his undergraduate degree in psychology in 1983 from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and his master's degree in social work from Boston University in 1991. He is in private practice as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist in Virginia Beach, with a focus on the use of spirituality and faith as tools for personal transformation and liberation.
Peter has studied the Cayce readings for over 20 years. At the A.R.E., Peter has been the field conferences manager, the headquarters conferences facilitator and is currently the supervisor of the A.R.E.'s Visitor's Center, which host over 100,000 visitors a year. Lemuria, the lost continent in the Pacific, (also known as Mu) has intrigued people worldwide since the mid 1800s. From Madame Blavatsky, who, in 1860 suggested that Lemuria existed in the Indian Ocean, to today's David Hatcher Childress who makes comparisons of stone structures all over the world, there is much evidence of its existence and effect on civilization.
The most intriguing information comes from the Edgar Cayce life readings where he indicates that Lemuria/Mu was the first civilization on Earth. Linda will take you on an exciting journey through time with many slides showing ancient structures and languages that defy modern scientific explanations of how they came to be.
You will learn of similarities in myths and legends of indigenous peoples around the world. Pictures of megalithic stone structures will be presented from such far flung places as the South Pacific (including Hawaii), Peru, England, Mexico and the U.S., to name a few. Their construction defies the imagination, however, Cayce gives us clues.
Symbols in hieroglyphs and petroplyphs from the Mayans to the Egyptians to the Southwest U.S. to Ireland and on and on will be explored for similarities and meaning. They are the beginning of written language.
By comparing lifetime research done by various people over the years to the Cayce readings, Linda presents a very convincing case for Lemuria.
About Our Speaker
Linda Jewell left Hawaii in the summer of 1998 to visit with her family in Virginia. Little did she know that her real purpose was to work at the A.R.E. and learn about Edgar Cayce. By April 1999 she was working as the Tour Coordinator and a little over one year later became Tour Director as well as Coordinator. While doing research in the Cayce readings for information to supply the leaders of various tours, Linda came across some information about Lemuria and became intrigued. After much research, she thought it would be a good idea to have a tour every year to a different place that had connections to Lemuria. This didn't come about, but in the process Linda began doing the Survey Lecture at the A.R.E. headquarters every month. This she did for over nine years until leaving Virginia Beach to live nearer to her grandchildren in Charlottesville.Linda has had many opportunities in her world travels to see firsthand the structures and other evidence of ancient civilizations. What stands out most for her are megalithic structures in Mexico and Peru, petroglyphs in Hawaii, New Mexico and Colorado, as well as Costa Rica where she also saw large, ancient, perfectly round stone spheres. Linda had psychic experiences in many of these places as well as felt energy flowing from sacred stones.
Swimming with dolphins in the open ocean is one of Linda's passions. She has had this pleasurable experience several times in Bimini, Hawaii, and Costa Rica and has even arranged tours for small groups. Perhaps this passion is explained by the pronouncement by a prominent psychic that she was the "communicator" between the dolphins and the Lemurians
Since leaving Virginia Beach in late 2009, Linda has settled in Orange, VA where she currently practices energy healing as a certified Quantum Touch practitioner. She is also a certified Quantum Touch instructor and plans to begin classes soon.

Numbers play a part in every aspect of our life. From the moment we take our first breath to the moment we take our last, we are influenced by numbers. Nothing in life is random. All the twists and turns in our life are influenced by each individual's vibration, by the vibrations of the Universe and by each individual's free will. As it is above, so it is below...your birth name, your birth date, your purpose, your lessons all were planned by you before you were born into this life. Each is represented by a number. One of our most popular and beloved speakers, Betty Riley, returns to Charlottesville for another weekend of wisdom and wit.
